FAQ

  • What is Osteopathy?
Andrew Taylor Still MD,DO, developed osteopathic medicine in the U.S. in the mid-to late - 1800s. Osteopathic care incorporates a broad range of approaches to the maintenance of health and the management of disease. It embraces the concept of the unity of the individual’s structure, (anatomy) and function (physiology). Osteopathy is a person – centred approach to health care rather than disease – centred. Osteopathy is a holistic natural manual therapy that treats the entire body as a unit, as all structure and functions within the body are interrelated and affect one another.
