Myer Babaeff was born in Azerbaijan in 1960, graduated high school in 1977 and then moved to Russia to pursue his medical studies at the St. Petersburg State Pediatrics Medical University from 1982-1988. Myer graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in 1988.
Myer continued his medical education at the Gorkov Medical Institute, passed his internship and residency at the Kirov Provincial Central Hospital, garnering a Specialty of Surgery. Myer practised the qualification of Surgeon from 1988 to 1991, working as a General Surgeon in Russia until 1994.
After 12 years of living in Russia, Myer moved back to his native country of Azerbaijan in 1994. He pursued his interest in the specialty of Gastrointestinal Surgery and was accepted into the Academic Topchubashov Scientific Surgery Center in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan. Myer studied and worked for the next 12 years as a Gastrointestinal Surgeon from 1994 to 2006.
Myer and his family began a new chapter in their lives and immigrated to Canada in 2006. Myer refocused his career on Holistic Medicine. He graduated from the New Earth College in Toronto as a certified Acupuncturist from the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. Myer attended and graduated from Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy with an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (D.O.M.P.) Diploma.
